Dates: June 15, 2025 - June 20, 2025 & June 22, 2025 - June 26, 2025

Leaders-In-Training program is designed to provide Christ-centered leadership training in God’s great northwoods. Campers attend two weeks of LIT training designed to prepare campers to be counselors at camp and leaders in their community. LIT Training focuses on learning about theology, outdoor education, leadership skills, teambuilding, facilitating conversations, leading small and large group games, all the ins and outs of camp, and more!

After the two programmatic weeks of training, LITs will come back to camp the same summer for anywhere from 1-3 weeks, serving as Leaders in Training in a cabin learning from our counseling staff, as support staff working with the entire community in the behind-the-scenes of camp, or with our canoe country program exploring what it means to be a canoe guide. LITs who complete the program afford the opportunity to apply for a summer position in the future. This program is application-based. Once approved by our staff you will get a special code to register for camp!

ABOUT SR. HIGH CAMPS

Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry offers a wide variety of options for Senior High youth. Enjoy a more traditional week at camp or challenge yourself to try something new. Our programs provide you with opportunities for leadership development and adventure while also challenging you to live out your faith in the world. FLEX FAMILY CAMP

Voyageur Family Camp is spending time together in the beauty of the north woods. Each day includes opportunities for worship and Bible study, as well as swimming, canoeing, creating, games, and simply spending time together as a family. Our hope is that your family will be renewed in your time at camp – as you share meals, worship, play and grow in your faith together.

BWCAW Canoe Camp

BWCAW Canoe camp is the place to both learn the basics and build on your skills. Campers spend time each day canoeing, camping, and learning other outdoor education skills while immersed in the BWCAW. Campers (9 -11 gr) will head into the BWCAW for a 3-night canoe trip. This camp will also provide leadership / outdoor development, opportunities for spiritual growth and teamwork.

VOYAGEUR FAMILY CAMP

SOJOURNERS

(Completed grades 10–12) With so many options available to Senior High students, spending a week as a Sojourner means a week with passionate, fun, and faith-filled peers. Conversations are deeper, worships are more meaningful, and friendships last well beyond camp.

LEADERS-IN-TRAINING

RENDEZVOUS

Rendezvous is a fun, Christ-centered camp experience for campers with intellectual/developmental disabilities. It is three days packed with everything camp has to offer – games, swimming, worship, campfire, Bible study, creative arts, and the chance to make new friends with our staff and fellow campers!
