Paddle Building Workshop

Come to Camp Vermilion and learn how to build your own canoe paddle! You’ll select your pieces of wood, then glue and clamp your paddle together. Then you’ll sand, sand, and sand some more until it’s just the way you want it.

Most of the work will be completed on Friday and Saturday, but breakfast will be provided Sunday morning and the shop will be available if you’d like to stay and work longer that day.

You can also consider building a paddle with a friend or family member. Parent/child or grandparent/grandchild participants can build one paddle together and come for the cost of an individual.

Space is limited to 6 participants, so please register early.

Cost: $200/paddle
