Camp Hiawatha Work Day

- a Great Success!

The day may have started out with shoveling snow off the deck of the Camp Hiawatha Dining Hall – - but it sure ended up a beautiful day. Nearly 50 individuals showed up for our officially first “Camp Hiawatha Workday“! Many churches worked on their sponsored building and did special projects around the camp, including cutting, splitting and stacking of much needed firewood, beach clean-up, canteen (camp-store) set-up wish a special sale, kitchen sink installation, cleaning in and out of the cabins, retreat center and the dining hall. Traditionally, Camp Hiawatha has had projects done over the month of May and it was certainly great to see a large group of people working, having fun and supporting the camp together.
